Stemo charges a flat subscription and zero commission per order. Marketplaces like 1mg, PharmEasy and Blinkit typically charge sellers 20–30% per order and own the customer relationship; with Stemo, the retailer owns everything. For pharmacies, the compliance work is built in: prescription upload with pharmacist review, Schedule H, H1 and X handling, pharmacist licence display, GST and FSSAI fields, and DPDPA 2023 data protection with data stored in India.

No. Stemo is the opposite of a marketplace: each shop gets its own private, branded online store with its own name, link and customer base. Your customers see your shop — not Stemo, and not other sellers. Stemo never lists your products next to competitors or takes a cut of your orders.

Those are marketplaces: customers belong to the platform, and sellers typically pay 20–30% commission per order. Stemo is white-label — your store runs under your own name, your customers stay yours, and you pay a flat subscription with zero commission on orders.
Is it legal for my pharmacy to sell medicines online in India?
Yes, with conditions: prescriptions must be verified by a registered pharmacist, Schedule H/H1/X rules apply, and your pharmacist licence must be displayed. Stemo builds these steps into the order flow — customers upload a prescription, your pharmacist approves it in the dashboard, and every step is logged for audit.
How long does it take to set up my store?
Most shops are live within 30 minutes — sign up, upload your product list (or pick from our pre-filled catalog of 20,000+ common SKUs), set delivery areas, and share your QR code. Our onboarding team is available on WhatsApp if you get stuck.
Which payment methods can my customers use?
Your customers pay by UPI. They scan your own QR code with any UPI app — PhonePe, GPay, Paytm, BHIM — and the money moves straight from their bank account into yours. There is no payment gateway sitting in the middle, which means no commission on your sales and no waiting for a settlement. You confirm the payment against your own bank app before dispatching. Cash on Delivery is supported too, and you can keep a digital credit book (khata) for regular customers.
Does the app work offline or on slow internet?
Yes. Your store is a Progressive Web App (PWA) — customers install it on their phone like a native app, and it caches product pages for offline browsing. On slow 3G it still loads in under 3 seconds. No Play Store or App Store approval needed.
How does prescription verification work?
When a customer adds a Schedule H/H1/X medicine to cart, they're prompted to upload a photo or PDF of the prescription. Your registered pharmacist reviews it in the admin panel, approves or rejects with a note, and the order moves forward only after approval. Every step is logged with a timestamp for audit.
What kind of support do I get?
